Standard Construction

Conductor	Bare copper wires, soft temper. Stringing: Class 5, according to NBR NM 280. Flexible.
Isolation	XLPE – Cross-linked polyethylene, black numbered sequentially.
Identification	Unipolar: Black, blue or green. Bipolar: Black and white. Tripolar: Black, white and red. Tetrapolar: Black, white, red and blue.
Cover	SHF1 - halogen-free thermoplastic compound, in black, with rip cord, cylindrical finish.

Optional Features

Upon request, instrumentation cables can be manufactured with the following construction options:

Conductor	Tinned copper; Class 2 copper
Identification	Colors according to NBR 6251. black numbered
Isolation	HEPR (90ºC) Polyethylene PE (70°C).
Shielding	Braid + copper tape (E+B).
Frame	Helical Steel Wire (SWA).
Cover	PE (Polyethylene ST3); SHF2 – halogen-free thermosetting compound; Cylindrical finish - Classified areas
Color	Other colors on request.

Applicable Standards

NBR NM 280	Insulated cable conductors (IEC 60228 MOD).
NBR 6251	Power cables with extruded insulation for voltages from 1kV to 35kV.
NBR 10300	Power and control cables and insulated conductors without covering, with extruded insulation and with low emission of smoke for voltages up to 1 kV
IEC 60502-1	Power cables with extruded insulation for voltages from 1kV to 30kV.

Routine Tests

Voltage Test	3,5 kV / 5 minutes: 1000V
Resistence test of isolation	300 to 500V / 1 to 5 minutes.
