POLIRON started its activities in the 1930s, in the Brás neighborhood in São Paulo, with celluloid artifacts as its main product at that time.

Since its foundation, it has shown itself to be an innovative company, with a view to changing concepts and always investing in new technologies and new processes, being a pioneer in the manufacture of the first plastic multitube for the Pneumatic Instrumentation Process, in Brazil, and in the elaboration of the first Metallic multitube in long bids, with 100% national materials, for the implementation of the Bahia Petrochemical Complex.

Following the evolution of the industrial automation market, POLIRON has today become one of the main cable and multicore manufacturers in Brazil, for offering one of the most complete lines of Instrumentation, Control and Command Cables, Thermocouple extension cables used in industries Petrochemicals, Chemicals, Oil Platforms, Pulp Factories, Industrial and Building Automation Systems, in addition to machinery industries, among others.

During the last years, POLIRON has been perfecting its techniques in the manufacture of instrumentation cables and developing products in partnership with its customers and, in this way, being able to better meet their needs. Consequently, it has participated in major projects for the Chemical, Petrochemical and Paper Industry in the country, in addition to Industrial Automation Systems, Thermoelectric and Hydroelectric Plants, among others.

In 2011, POLIRON became a BELDEN Brand. When acquired by Multinacional Belden, POLIRON became a strong brand of the company, in Brazil; which enabled it to manufacture international cables in the country and provided it with an amplitude in its portfolios and an opportunity for greater space in the Brazilian market.
