Standard Construction

Conductor Tinned copper wires, soft temper. Stringing: Class 2, according to IEC 60228.
Isolation XLPE – Cross-linked polyethylene.
Identification Pairs: black and white numbered. Trios: numbered black, white and red. Court: numbered black, white, red and blue.
Communication Conductor Communication pair, section: 0.5 mm2, in blue color or orange.
Cover SHF1 - halogen-free thermoplastic compound, in gray, with rip cord, cylindrical finish.

Upon request, Instrumentation Cables can be manufactured with the following construction options:

Conductor Class 5 copper. With mica tape – IEC 60331
Isolation HEPR (90ºC)
Identification Colored veins; NEK Standard 606
Cover SHF2 – halogen-free thermosetting compound. SHF2 (MUD) – halogen-free thermosetting compound with mud resistant – NEK 606.
Color Blue (application in intrinsically safe circuit), With longitudinal red stripe (fire condition application) Other colors on request.

Routine Tests

Alternating voltage test 1,5 kV/ 5 minutes.
Resistence test of isolation 150/250 (300V) / 1 to 5 minutes.
